The Consular Section is located in the Canadian Embassy,

The Consular Bureau of the Department of Foreign Affairs and
International Trade (DFAIT) offers 24-hour emergency service to Canadians in
distress. By dialling the embassy's regular telephone number here in Lebanon (961-4-713900), the caller is connected to a voice mail system which instructs
him or her to call Canada collect at
001-(613)-9968885.
This connects directly to the 24-hour Watch Office at DFAIT where an
attendant wll listen
to
the problem and, if necessary, contact a Consular Officer in
Beirut who will in turn re-contact the caller to deliver assistance as
appropriate.
